KOTA KINABALU: Three men smashed the glass wall of a fuel station here before making away with loot, including cash and cigarettes, in Sabah’s interior Keningau district early Monday.
Keningau police chief Supt Yampil Anak Garai said they were notified of the incident by the station manager later that morning.“The suspects were wearing jackets, long trousers and gloves while their faces were covered,” he said when contacted. “Efforts are underway to locate the trio,” he said, adding the case was being probed under Section 457 of the Penal Code for breaking into the station to commit a burglary.
Meanwhile, later the same day, a woman died instantly after she was ejected from a car during an accident at Kampung Kawang in Kinarut, Papar.
