Consumers in several states recently received warnings for specific drinking water bottles from the FDA.

Two different drinking water brands in the U.S. have faced recalls, with agencies issuing warnings to consumers around the nation.Read more: What Is a Health Savings Account?'A recall is a method of removing or correcting products that are in violation of laws administered by the Food and Drug Administration ,' the FDA states on its website.

Centers for Disease Control and Prevention states that manganese is a trace element and eating a small amount is needed to stay healthy. Manganese concentrations in bottled drinking water should not exceed 0.05 milligrams per liter, the FDA states.In a statement to Newsweek last month, a Fiji spokesperson said: 'It is also important to note that there is NO RISK of high manganese exposure from the levels of manganese in FIJI Water.
