Global technology firm HP has shed light on the stark contrast within the country's business landscape: while many enterprises recognize the pivotal role of technology in achieving success, they simultaneously grapple with significant barriers to its adoption, including age-related hesitance, fierce market competition, and escalating raw material...

“At HP, we understand these issues and strive to offer solutions that simplify operations and address these challenges,” said Michele Huang, South East Asian Director for Print at HP

Huang emphasized the positive outlook for technology adoption in the Philippines, particularly among microbusinesses, with nearly 67 percent of respondents expressing the importance of future-proofing their businesses. Micro enterprises made up the majority of the business landscape, constituting 90.49 percent of the total establishments. Small enterprises followed at 8.69 percent , while medium enterprises comprised 0.40 percent .

Huang also noted that many small business owners and micro businesses now adopt hybrid work models, working from multiple locations and seeking technologies that facilitate remote work. For example, Huang highlighted HP’s Smart App, which is compatible with any OS like iOS or Android and various mobile devices, as a popular tool for managing business tasks on the go.
