: The Ministry of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living is taking a serious note of industry statements regarding potential service price increases following the implementation of targeted diesel subsidy which began yesterday.
“Monitoring and enforcement against any complaints received through the provided platforms will be carried out based on the Price Control and Anti-Profiteering Act 2011,“ he said. For sectors not included in the 33 types of public transport and goods under the Subsidised Diesel Control System , such as vehicle towing services and the delivery of construction materials, KPDN will issue notices to the relevant parties.
For industrial sectors such as construction, he said that KPDN will investigate their reasons for the need to increase service prices at this time.
