The sexual and reproductive telehealth company is launching a new segment of products and services dedicated to fertility care. Currently, the lineup includes pregnancy tests, $10 a test; $45 for a one-time three-month supply; the PherDal’s FDA-approved At-Home Insemination Kit, $199; the Proov Complete Ovarian Reserve and Hormone Testing, $100, and the Proov Hers and His Advanced Fertility Kit, $170.
“It’s an interesting space to play in because most people just default to IVF…which is incredibly costly,” Cepak said. “There’s a white space in the pre-IVF stage where women can explore a variety of different options to help them conceive, avoiding that costly IVF journey,” she said, adding this includes insemination kits, supplements and at-home tests, which the brand is offering through a partnership with testing company Proov. “Most women don’t even know that these products exist.
While fertility is the focus right now, the brand is also planning to invest in the menopause category and eventually offer hormone replacement therapy.
