DENVER — Severe storms are possible Friday afternoon across the Denver metro and through Colorado’s eastern plains, bringing the threat of large hail, damaging winds and a possible brief tornado.

Friday, June 14 2:28 p.m. | Severe thunderstorm warning | Quarter-sized hail and up to 50 mph is possible for Aurora, Centennial and Littleton as the first round of severe thunderstorms begins moving to our area until 3:15 p.m. A severe thunderstorm watch has been issued for parts of Colorado, Kansas, Nebraska, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Texas and Wyoming until 9 PM MDT pic.twitter.com/WR2WJSQJfE
