After nearly three months without a full grocery store, the town of Baldwin is getting ready to have one again.

Local NewsThe last market, which was owned by the town, closed in mid-March.

“Now I pay, like I said, $20 each way for Uber to go get my groceries. So it’s been rough,” White said. “It’s adding up big time.”In an email sent to News4JAX, the mayor said in part: According to the USDA, 2.3 million people live more than a mile from a supermarket and do not have access to a vehicle.
