Serenity Now, on Great Western Road, had been put on the market last September by its current owners who on Friday announced that they have handed the keys to the new owners.

The owners of a cafe in the west end have closed their doors "with a heavy heart" after trading for nearly seven years.

Bosses at the vegan brunch spot yesterday announced that they handed over the keys to the unit's new owners. "Today, we handed over the keys, and with a heavy heart we’re saying goodbye to the business we started almost seven years ago. "We’re sad that circumstances mean we aren’t able to say a proper goodbye and have one last hurrah this weekend, but it really has been a pleasure and a privilege to serve you all and to be a part of the Great Western Road community.
