NOTHING lasts forever. Simply because people and organizations don't last forever, that should not discourage you from trying to make them last as long as they can.

NOTHING lasts forever. Simply because people and organizations don't last forever, that should not discourage you from trying to make them last as long as they can.Businesses have a lifetime of 50 years, renewable for another 50 years each time. By the 20th year of operation, some companies begin to feel a 'mid-life crisis,' a phenomenon that also happens to people over age 40.

I started by saying, 'If you are a 20-year-old business organization, how do you continue to succeed for 20 or 50 or more years? If your best option now is to maintain the status quo in your current business model and operating model, think again.' Following are my prescriptions:– Adaptability to change. The global and local business landscape continues to change. Successful businesses can adapt to changing market trends, technologies and customer preferences.
