Cannabis company responds to weed smell complaints at Edmonton's airport

This photo shows the main terminal at Edmonton International Airport in 2013. There have been complaints of a pot odour at the air travel hub thanks to its new neighbour, Aurora Sky.

Aurora Cannabis, the company that operates the facility, is going to great lengths to mitigate any pot odour wafting over to the airport, as well as local hotels and outlet stores. The company said in a December email to businesses in the area that it has heard from a number of people working in and around the airport about its cannabis smell and was working to improve its odour control measures.

"However, we have noticed that we still have a ways to go to perfect this technology, not just on behalf of ourselves, but on behalf of the industry."Christopher Chodan, spokesman for the Edmonton airport, said it has received a handful of complaints since Aurora started production.

I live in Ford City , Windsor Ontario. Hiram Walker should be closed as well. I smell barley and other offensive odours throughout the day. (My complaint sounds a little ridiculous, doesn't it?)
