Stephen Frail believes the Steelmen are in a good place after a busy summer in the transfer market

Motherwell assistant boss Stephen Frail says the club’s summer signing spree has him excited for the season ahead.

Frail says being that organised has made a huge difference from last summer, and reckons there’s grounds for excitement. “We look in a really healthy place just now, where we are in pre-season, and hopefully that can continue. We were a wee bit late last year in our preparation. This year we’ve managed to get it organised earlier. We’ve brought in 10 players and that makes a big difference. Even when we turned up here, we could see the difference.

“This year the manager has worked tirelessly with the recruitment team, and I think you can see the results of that work. First of all, with the number of players we’ve managed to bring in, but also, we believe, the quality that will fit the way we want to work, to play.
