The Croft in Lugar Place, Rutherglen, has been put up for sale by the Hood family after 33 years of ownershipA PUB which was founded by a former Celtic player and has been run by the same family for more than 30 years has hit the market.
Hood eventually opened The Croft as a community pub, which served food and drinks while showing sport in 1991, and is referred to locally as one of the “hidden gems” in the community.The Hood family have now come to the difficult decision to sell The Croft as they focus on their other businesses. “Our commitment to the community and our patrons has always been at the heart of everything we do at Lisini.”He continued: “Since our inception in 1969, Lisini Pub Company has earned a reputation for exceptional service, quality hospitality, and strong community ties.
