The flight attendants were attentive, checking to make sure everyone's internet and entertainment systems worked and setting up the lie-flat beds with sheets and pillows. However, I wouldn't say they were exceptionally personable. It was more or less the same service I've received in economy on most airlines. The screen was a disappointment. It wasn't sharp or particularly high-definition like I have experienced on even many economy flights.
The seats are comfortable enough, offer a lot of amount of legroom, and turn into lie-flat beds — which to me is one of the main reason one opts for business over economy. However, the 777-300ER cabin has middle seats for business class, which is absurd for how much a ticket costs. In addition, in comparison to Emirates' business class, each seat has little privacy from other passengers.
The best part of the Turkish experience — and I think the company knows this — is its dining service. The menus are fun and inventive, with lots of food and lots of options. While my plate of scrambled eggs was disappointing, the rest of the meals were top-notch. I particularly enjoyed the trolley service. It's a fun way to let customers pick exactly what they want.
At the end you got the business class is free. There is a saying do not spit at the plate that you eat food from. You might not like it but compare it with other airlines with giving name is not kind attitude.
Any fight over 10 hours is not going to be the same as being able to go home and sleep, eat etc. First class seating is all about he extra space, sleeping seats, service and the food.
