Highly sought-after six-digit heritage vehicle number plates are making a return in Victoria. The plates will be available in a limited release from July 30, with a number of popular combinations available including: When other six-digit heritage plates were last available 12 months ago, orders had to be paused within just days due to the high demand.
Heritage plates are replicas of Victoria’s first number plates issued almost 100 years ago. VicRoads chief executive officer Giles Thompson said six-digit plates are limited to combinations between 100,000 and 285,000, making them appealing to collectors.
