A slowdown of the Florida housing market in June is causing concern among a majority of homebuilders in the Sunshine State, according to a recent survey.Asked about the state of their local new construction market, 31 percent of Florida homebuilders told housing market research website Zonda that June had been 'slower than expected but not worrisome,' as reported by journalist Lance Lamberts.

1 percent year-over-year in May, the latest data available on Redfin, with the median sale price of a home at $420,100, homebuying demand has cooled down as supply has grown.According to Redfin, the number of homes sold in May fell 2.5 percent year over year, while the number of homes for sale rose 40.4 percent. In the same month, the number of homes selling above list price dropped 4 percentage points year over year.
