That means the first Diamond League meeting of the season, in Doha on Friday will not be affected by the new IAAF regulations.Caster Semenya has not entered but two of the women who have been up there with Semenya’s recently, Margaret Wambui of Kenya and Francine Niyonsaba of Burundi are in the entry list.
British athlete Lynsey Sharp, the who has been vocal in her belief that racing against Caster Semenya is unfair is also on the list. The Court of Arbitration for Sport this week ruled against Semenya, although it admitted that the regulations limiting levels of naturally produced testosterone in women is by definition discriminatory.
