The head of a leading drug manufacturer has been found guilty of bribing doctors to prescribe a dangerous painkiller to patients who did not need it, in the first criminal conviction of a pharma chief over the opioid epidemic.
It's good to see drug dealers being held accountable for their actions. Hopefully this sets a precedent for the pharmaceutical companies.
And if Trump and evil Republicans get their way and gut the entire ACA expect the opioid problem 2 get way worse they should get prison and have 2 cover the cost for treatment because it ain't cheap.
Kapoor, finally!
No prison term. Just a daily cocktail of Fantanyl.
FINALLY PHARMA being held accountable!! One big win....next go after Purdue PHARMA who spent millions and millions lying/promoting to prescribers and pharmacists like me to get their Oxycontin to be on hospital formularies across the nation.
He won't go to prison. 😡😡😡
It is well known that doctors who want to make money want to do this. With a regulated social insurance, this would not be possible. Take a look at European insurance. Only for information.
Just evil.
Ohhhh wow.
