Ramaphosa also says the alliance partners are finding each other for the good of the country.

African National Congress President Cyril Ramaphosa says despite the party’s disagreement with alliance partners, the Congress of South African Trade Unions and the South African Communist Party , on the ANC-led Government of National Unity they are slowly beginning to find each other.

Earlier, the SACP accused the ANC of selling out, saying it was in bed with the Democratic Alliance . Cosatu on the other hand said it was strange that when it called for the reconfiguration of the alliance, the ANC accused it of wanting positions in government. The labour federation said the ANC instead gave the DA six ministerial positions.“We must ensure that our participation in the GNU does not undermine our core principles and goals but serves as a platform to defend and advance working-class interests.
