'(He said,) 'We're going to make sure you can't overpopulate like you are now and we're going to get rid of you,' basically. 'I'm here. That's my mission,'' Yehoshua Nodel, the cafe owner, told WPLG.

A Florida man has been arrested and charged with making telephone threats after allegedly calling a Miami Beach business and threatening the Jewish community.

Jorge Rucinque, 26, was arrested in Miami Beach after he allegedly called a cafe known for its kosher menu and threatened an employee and said he would"explode the Jewish community." Miami Beach Police Runcinque's threats disturbed Nodel's wife and she hung up the phone on him and then called the police, WFOR reported.

The incident comes days after the Anti-Defamation League released its annual report on anti-Semitism in the United States. According to the 2018 study, 1,879 incidents occurred against Jews and Jewish organizations or institutions, a 5 percent decrease compared to the 1,986 reports from 2017.
