Symantec Corp. SYMC, -0.40% shares were slammed in after-hours trading Thursday, after the company reported an earnings miss and disappointing guidance and Chief Executive Greg Clark stepped down. Symantec said that board member Richard Hill would take over the CEO role on an interim basis after the departure of Clark, who had led Symantec since 2016 and will depart the board and all his positions immediately.
