Brown-Forman Corporation is the latest in a string of companies to abandon diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives.

The parent company of Jack Daniel’s on Wednesday announced it is ending its diversity, equity and inclusion goals.on social media Wednesday that the company is changing its diversity and inclusion strategy to account for a shift in the U.S.’ “legal and external landscape.

The company noted it will end goals to have diversity in its workforce and to deal with suppliers with diverse personnel. It will also begin making sure its training programs align with the new DEI strategy, the executives said. We know it will not be easy to navigate the road ahead, but please know our deep belief in, and respect for, each of you remains constant,” the company wrote.

We’re now forcing multi-billion dollar organizations to change their policies without even posting just from fear they have of being the next company that we expose," he added.
