Facilities at the Sliabh Liag visitor attraction in Co Donegal have been upgraded as part of a €5 million works programme

Costing almost €5 million, the project includes a visitor centre, improved road access and 2.5km of new mountain pathway.

The project was a challenging one in a sensitive area and tonnes of stone had to be air-lifted to the top of the mountain for the new pathways.

The most beautiful place I have ever been- without a doubt!!

Sure won't it look great on Instagram.

Looks beautiful.

How about giving donegal some decent public transport ffs

No it’s not. Waste of money. The visitor centre stands abandoned since 4 years, the road up is still in bad shape, and most money was spent on airlifting(!) freaking stones up the mountain. No way has been built tho. Absolute shite.
