While the job search can be grueling, he encourages jobseekers to lean toward sectors that are growing the most, like healthcare:"Especially if you're early in career, that's one that can you can shift towards in part because this has got long-term potential as well. This is something the US is increasingly spending money on."Our Fed correspondent Jennifer Schonberger asked Fed Chair Jerome Powell about the changing stance.

If you remember the conversation about the great resignation, there's far few people, far fewer people now leaving their job there voluntarily than they were back in late 2021 in large part because there's just fewer options and opportunities for them to leave their old job and most likely go get a raise in a new position.There, there is a wave of unemployed people who are actively looking for work who are leaning into artificial intelligence.

So I think one thing you can think about if you're looking for a job right now is to look towards the sectors or the types of jobs that are growing quickly right now. Um So I think it's just a matter of people finding the spots where there are more opportunities um that fit their skills.
