Why higher tariffs mean higher bicycle prices: China accounted for 94% of the bikes imported to the U.S.

The U.S. last week increased tariffs on $200 billion of Chinese goods, from burglar alarms to spark plugs, ratcheting up the trade conflict with Beijing. The latest move added to pressure on the bicycle industry, which had already been hit by earlier rounds of tariffs.
