Huge oversight: you also need a good Internet plan before you can stream anything. Internet isn’t free.

Oh BOLLOX! The kind of Ko$$ack hasbara I’d expect to get from propaganda outfit owned by Time-Warner.

I pay about the same after upgrading our WiFi we have Premium channel access, commercial free, DVR, and access to all the trendy new shows. So for us it’s lot more quality w/o cable. But if prices continue to grow we will soon drop streaming services without hesitation.

I have sling, Netflix, hbo now, and Hulu, all for less than dish charges (yes, I know dish owns slings), and I can EASILY cancel anytime.

Only if you get every streaming service available. I have Netflix ($12/mo) and Prime (about $10/mo). Once a year, I get HBO for 2 months and then cancel ($15/mo). How is this more expensive?
