One of the highlights of the Yuletide season is undoubtedly the array of festive markets brimming with unique finds and treasures that make Christmas shopping a delight.
These markets are also the perfect hunting ground for those eccentric presents, saving you from the dread of battling the last-minute retail frenzy at busy city malls or shopping centres. And the much-anticipated Bakewell Christmas Market is set to bring its own dose of festive spirit.
Scheduled for the weekend of Saturday, November 16, and Sunday, November 17, the market is anticipated to offer an assortment of delicious food, a broad spectrum of entertainment and approximately 100 stalls to browse. Around 100 stalls are anticipated to be spread throughout the town centre, promising an immersive festive experience for families and locals with a local brass and silver band, a choir, and a DJ. In addition to traditional food and drink stalls offering mulled wine and cider, bratwurst sausages, minced pies and burgers, there will be a variety of activities to keep children entertained, reports Derbyshire Live.
