NRL: Ben Hunt has made public comments about his current contract situation with the St. George Illawarra Dragons.

There is set to be a huge halves shake-up in the NRL with several star veterans to hit the open market on November 1.

Reynolds will be reunited with his former coach in Michael Maguire, who has now been tasked with leading the Broncos forward post-Kevin Walters. 2025 will obviously be important in shaping DCE’s next move. As recently as last month, the veteran half says that he isn’t ruling anything out.“If it all had to end next year for me I would be extremely grateful for the journey. I don’t think it will all end next year, but it’s just not something I have been worried about.“After losing the race for the starting halfback role to veteran Drew Hutchinson, Toby Sexton worked extremely hard on his game in reserve grade.

After reportedly making some positive lifestyle changes, banning himself from alcohol and gambling venues, the 25-year-old reinvented himself as one of the most damaging halves in the comp. Trindall has already come out publicly and said he would love to “repay” the Sharks for keeping the faith in him during his tough times, but it remains to be seen if Cronulla powerbrokers can table a lucrative deal.

Fitzgibbon has already shown his cards early, prioritising Hynes and Tindall in the halves in the finals, leaving the 23-year-old in a vulnerable state. However, any half that has been moulded by supercoach Craig Bellamy, and the long term successor for Cameron Munster and Hughes is a hot prospect for any club, especially being just 21 years old, with an incredible kicking game, and a natural ability to control a side. The 24-year-old was dropped to reserve grade after two games before breaking his leg in NSW Cup.
