An American company is to create 200 new jobs in both Waterford and Sligo over the next three years in new software development and CAD support centres.

Allstate Sales Group is a provider of engineering and construction services to the telecommunications industry.ASG already has offices in New York, Pittsburgh, Boston, Tampa and Atlanta, and employs some 700 people across its US offices.

The firm plans to establish itself at WorkLab Waterford and the IT Sligo Campus Innovation Centre during the startup phase.The new roles will include technical and office professionals, including software developers, CAD/ARC-GIS technicians, management, administrative support and HR staff.
