'Private entities' will fully fund third national car project, says PM chedetofficial

Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad has assured that the mooted third national car project will be fully funded by"private entities" – such as SilTerra Malaysia Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Khazanah Nasional Bhd.

"SilTerra is Khazanah's sister company, and it is capable of producing car components following its vast experience in making semiconductor chips for various industries for more than 20 decades," he said. The prime minister added in his reply that as part of Khazanah, SilTerra plays a crucial role in the country's strategic interests in terms of being a catalyst for technology investment in Malaysia.

He also stressed that the third national car project is not just about making a car, but also utilising the talent pool and resources in the country to create an ecosystem in which entrepreneurs and industries can thrive.

chedetofficial : Siakap Senohong Gelama Ikan Duri🐟🐠🐡, Atok berbohong, mencuri demi Kroni.

chedetofficial The BS that you telling Malaysian will never makes it true.

chedetofficial We don’t need 3rd national car project. Our economy is too small for it and we have proven to the world that we make not so desirable cars. We could have been Detroit of Asia without Proton - cheaper cars and better skilled workforce. This goes to TH.:(

chedetofficial Ur cronies?

chedetofficial proton problem started with the 97 financial crisis. they used to import parts at rm2.50 but suddenly, they have to pay twice for the same part. that put them in trouble until they finally built all their own parts. that was why they needed the loans, or bailouts

chedetofficial proton also provided more than 500,000 jobs directly and indirectly and hundreds of companies big and small. the govt collected taxes from these workers and companies every year which amounted to billions. these workers also fed hundreds of thousands of their family members

chedetofficial many malaysians are clueless. they did not know that proton sold more than 4 millions cars which amounted to more than rm150 billion in sales. proton also bought lotus and mv agusta including building a rm1 billion plant.

chedetofficial : If it fails will they be bailed out AGAIN ? Its not a Car project, just CAR REASSEMBLING PROJECT.

chedetofficial That's very private, owned by Khazanah, Khazanah chairman, what will rocket ppl say?

chedetofficial Private entities? Syed Mokhtar? No GLC and no individual or businesses that been bailed out with taxpayers monies! And of really private entities, must not be funded or guaranteed by government or any GLICs!

chedetofficial Please. No more syed buhari.

chedetofficial Boleh

chedetofficial sila pilih 3 entiti ini.

chedetofficial Tak payah la
