In her closing submission, Mr O'Connor's defence barrister Ruth O'Gorman detailed evidence given by one child at the centre of 26 of the 59 charges. Ms O'Gorman said the complainant had little or no memory of the alleged offences relating to a dozen charges and therefore evidence against her client was "weak, vague tenuous."The prosecution argued the alleged offences occurred "many, many years ago".
Ms Price told the court one man told her about requests he had received online that he believed came from Mr O'Connor."My recollection is, was of the strong opinion that Tim was the holder of that account," she said.Ms Price told the court two years later another man had disclosed to her that Mr O'Connor had previously touched him indecently when he was a child.
