CEBU City’s historic Colon St. will soon see more people bustling as the annual Colon Night Market in Cebu City will return on Saturday, Dec. 14, 2024.The night market, strategically scheduled to coincide with Christmas and New Year celebrations, the 2025 Sinulog Festival, and the Valentine’s Day celebration next year, will feature 700 stalls offering various goods, food, and services.The Cebu City Council approved on Wednesday, Dec.
Legaspi St. from Manalili St. to Colon St. will be fully closed, while one lane of Pelaez St. and Junquera St. and both of Sanciangko St. to Colon St. will be closed.The plaza in Brgy. Parian will likewise be closed during the night market operation.Approximately 500 vendors from the Alliance of Energetic Vendors Association, Inc. and the Cebu City Street Traders Registered Group will participate in the Colon Night Market, managed by the Garbo Asenso Sumbanan Alyansa .
