Luigi Mangione, charged with murder in the death of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson, was denied bail at his hearing at Blair County Court House in Pennsylvania and did not waive extradition to New York. Its parent company, UnitedHealth Group, said that it had no record that Mangione was ever a client of its health insurance business, UnitedHealthcare. Mangione is currently being held in Pennsylvania where he has been charged with two felonies and three misdemeanors.
