The deadline is five pm on Tuesday. Acting Gauteng Premier, Lebogang Maile has briefed members of the media on their plans in Johannesburg.. The spaza shop registration drive comes after the death of a number of children in suspected food poisoning incidents. Eighty five registration centres were set up across Gauteng and over 13 000 application forms have been collected.
“This is an application process, and the determination will be made for those who qualify. Some of the issues that came up are people who submitted incomplete documents, people who were fronting for foreign nationals, and people who did not have floor plans for their businesses.”The state of disaster preparedness, Health contingency plan, Payment of service providers, Update on Learner Admissions and School Readiness for 2025 and Structured Intentional Holiday Programmes for Children.
