Filmmakers and artists lauded the government of President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. for the support it has shown for the Philippine film industry.At the recently concluded “Konsyerto sa Palasyo: Para Pelikulang Pilipino,” Film Development Council of the Philippines Chairperson and CEO Jose Javier Reyes said the film industry greatly appreciates the efforts of the President and his wife, First Lady Louise Araneta Marcos, in spearheading the fifth installment of Konsyerto sa Palasyo.
Gladys Reyes meanwhile said, "Sana po talaga tuloy-tuloy na ito … doble po ‘yung kaligayahan na malaman namin na mayroong ganitong event sa Palasyo sa pangunguna nga po ng ating Pangulo."Among the attendees of the Malacañang concert include GMA Network Senior Vice President Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes and Ruru Madrid, who is set to star in a Metro Manila Film Festival 2024 entry, “Green Bones," directed by a Ten Outstanding Young Men Awardee 2024 Zig Dulay.
