The Fruitport Township Police Department is investigating after the president of a manufacturing company in Muskegon was stabbed during a meeting Tuesday morning. The department was called to Anderson Express Inc. on South Mill Iron Road around 9:20 a.m. after a 32-year-old employee stabbed the company president in the side with a knife during a staff meeting, authorities said.
Fellow employees told police the man was known for having a quiet demeanor, however, a motive has not been determined yet. The Anderson Express Inc. president is out of surgery and is in serious but stable condition, authorities said. Police said the 32-year-old is expected to be arraigned Wednesday, but did not specify what charges.
