.deemadigan on the Morrison government reversing the medevac laws: I don’t think the six Senate crossbenchers will see a reason why this needs to change. This was not an election based on border security, they don’t have any mandate. MORE: pmlive

The Morrison government will attempt to scrap the medevac laws as its first order of business when parliament resumes in July.

Home Affairs Minister Peter Dutton says ‘just over 30’ asylum seekers have been brought to Australia since the controversial legislation was introduced on March 1. Shadow Home Affairs Minister Kristina Keneally says Labor supports the medevac bill, and that if the government makes changes to the laws, they will have to explain why the changes are necessary. Anthony_htimS deemadigan Sky news is the far right hand of the lnp

deemadigan .deemadigan is absolutely correct auspol

deemadigan All this talk of a mandate is tedious. Voters don't necessarily approve of all a party's policies. Govt can put legislation to parliament, that's all. The opposition and others deal with it. Parliament does it's work.

deemadigan Things happen either side of an election campaign that requires action. Albo doesn't believe Morrison has a mandate on anything so that argument is flawed. The government is there to govern it should pursue whatever direction it sees fit

deemadigan It doesn't matter Dee how much sence you make .its al labor labor labor

deemadigan the medevac laws are crap brought about and introduced only for self advantage by a never should have bee elected or spoken such hate in the first place phelps tart, repeal this asinine law that hurts every Australian.

deemadigan Anyone claiming an elected govt has a mandate for anything is making the argument that democracy does not operate in the Parliament. If the concept of a mandate is legitimate why bother having parliamentarians vote?

deemadigan They don't need a mandate. They just need the numbers in the Senate. PeterDutton_MP

deemadigan They won the election, what other 'mandate' is there? If Labor had won, they would claim a mandate to make radical changes, and the media would support them.

deemadigan be number one on his agenda or maybe number two after tax cuts

deemadigan It’s amazing how many of the ill-informed Sky viewers just give up or block when called out for their nonsense. It would seem that watching Sky isn’t good for your brain.

deemadigan So u admit it was a scam to import illegals for fake medical reasons and once here ,they get legals to stay.

deemadigan Enough rapists and drug dealers here already. Reverse Medevac now.
