Shenzhen, China Huawei will miss revenue forecasts by about $30 billion over the next couple of years because of a US campaign against its business, the founder and CEO of the Chinese tech company said Monday.
"In the next two years, I think we will reduce our capacity, our revenue will be down by about $30 billion compared to the forecast, so our sales revenue this year and next year will be about $100 billion," Ren Zhengfei said during a panel discussion at Huawei's headquarters in Shenzhen. The embattled Chinese tech firm has become a flashpoint in the US-China trade war.
sounds like a they problem ..?
maybe huawei is the cheapest choice.
Build a wall for china too
shot by Huawei
Hate to see it
So?
does that mean the trade war is working in the US favor?
Not enough... KEEP THE PRESSURE ON THIS CRIMINALS !!!! SUPPORTAMERICANTECH KEEPCHINAFOREST2G BOYCOTTCHINAINVESTMENTS MAGA
King Trump beat the Russia investigation and democrats like a Boss. King Trump is untouchable.
Hello
Can you also report how much US is expected to lose from the trade war? What would be the cost of new iPhone if manufacturing at large scale is done in the US? I think this is such a stupid trade war where both parties (+global) harm each other anyway.
Good
Wait I thought the left said it only hurt the America economy ?
China : appear weak when you are strong
Basically the same amount of money they USA will lose .
Good. Companies like Huawei and Lenovo should be forced out of business for spying on Americans for a foreign government.
Huawei is the second largest smartphone vendor in the world and was on track to surpass Samsung. I think it's mind boggling how uninformed everyone is on this subject, spying? lol does prism, vault 7 or the Snowden leaks ring a bell to any of you morons? the U.S. can't compete.
we should also not allow Huawei to enter India even if it means poor reachability, we should wait for our own engineers to develop and give to nation but should now allow China.
China can’t be trusted
They better make a deal don’t you think
And still the US empire has not shared any definitive evidence of spying. Google and Facebook walk away with clean hands as bad politics wipes out another company falsely to compete against.
That's what you get for consistently stealing technologies and practicing unethical behaviors. It's called karma.
China should recall & demand immediate payment the $1.2 TRILLION the US is in debt to it & other countries should demand the total of over $4 TRILLION the US owes to them before realDonaldTrump puts the US into bankruptcy like he did most of his businesses.
Um that's the point...
Its mind boggling why we do not have electronic manufacture here, precisely to eliminate the chance of 'cryptic foreign connection'... Make it in the USA...
Hard to believe. Who actually buys Huawei products in America? This is clearly a generous estimate.
That's what Trump wants.
ummm, they will actually make 100 billion without the 30 billion in lost sales? boo hoo! Thanks POTUS for protecting the US from a Chinese takeover of our cell phone market. Your arrogance can be an asset for us, at times....
I don't need Huawei in my life.
So disappointing it's always just a poor decision from the Americans.
Oh~
Or so they say. What's stopping them from lying. The world already knows realDonaldTrump overreacts to unverified internet claims. This could be China setting him up. Seeing if he'll take the bait.
If you can't beat em.. break em
Don't spy on us and it will be good
Nope. It's just diversion. They've got home made OS and it's massive threat to Android. They're second largest company in smartphone market above Apple. They've got customers willing to try and move on from Google. So who's losing in the end?
That is the Trump plan. The USA cannot compete in technology
CNN should be shut down. The entire booze driven getup.
When brand is power
Damn! What a devastating tradewar
Ok.
What goes around comes around...
Good .
Excellent, keep pressing China.
bummer.
