Senator Sherwin T. Gatchalian said Monday he plans to sit down with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and discuss possible Senate intervention into the alleged current Kapa-Community Ministry International, Inc. (KAPA) investment scandal.

The Senate might come in into the Kapa affair ‘’if there’s a gap in the law,’’ he said.

As chairman of the Senate economic affairs committee, Gatchalian said so far there are enough laws to be used by the SEC and the National Bureau of Investigation in resolving the issue.
