Amazon took to Twitter on Monday to refute a claim Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez made during her interview on ABC’s “This Week” on Sunday that the company pays its workers “starvation wages.”
On Sunday, ABC News Chief White House Correspondent Jonathan Karl asked Ocasio-Cortez whether Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos would still remain a billionaire under a “true progressive program”, to which she responded that she is not as concerned “whether Jeff Bezos is a billionaire or not” and is more concerned over whether “your average Amazon worker is making a living wage, if they have guaranteed health care and if they can send their kids to college tuition-free.

Amazon can deny this all it wants. Most giant companies pay talented workers just over the minimum wage & salary for that position. It’s got to be fair wage, not just a fair amount.
Funny I talked to Amazon delivery guys and ask them how things are going and they said never better.
