Over the next week, hundreds of companies are expected to testify that Trump’s plan to ratchet up the tariffs on Beijing will hurt business growth, cause price hikes for consumers, and—wait for it—not actually achieve the president’s stated objectives.

Last month, just as it seemed the U.S. might agree to a deal with China, Trump derailed the whole thing by threatening to hit almost all remaining Chinese imports with tariffs, claiming that Chinese negotiators had gone back on previous commitments. Despite the fact that his trade policies have done nothing but cost the U.S.

This article has no basis in facts. I run my own businesses and profits have skyrocketed since January of 2016, it was very profitable before as well. Real American consumers have more faith in the American economy than ever before. I hope none of my followers read this
