As billions are invested to improve the airport experience, travelers say the industry is missing the obvious

of over 2,000 consumers, where only 28 percent of respondents said they were comfortable with facial recognition technology used at the airport for identification purposes and to reduce wait times.

As it happens, long security wait times are more likely to be due to understaffing than poor allocation of resources – and that’s not going to get better anytime soon. As , the TSA expects a 4.5 percent increase in airline passengers in 2020 but is only getting a 2.5 percent bump in staff numbers.

Here's one, U can't go through TSA check point with a bottle of water soda or ANY LIQUIDS over 3oz, but on the other side of that TSA check point they're more than happy to take ur $$ at 10x the cost for the same item you can't take through the check point. TOTALY STUPID
