A U.S.-China trade deal is highly unlikely and there is 'no way' Huawei will be allowed to sell into the U.S. market, a Republican Senator told CNBC Tuesday.

Rick Scott, the Republican senator for Florida, told CNBC's "Squawk Box Europe" that he did not believe there would be a deal at the end of the drawn out trade war between the two nations, and reiterated the contention that Huawei represents a threat to U.S. national security, a claim the company has vehemently denied.

President Trump also indicated that U.S. tech companies can go back to selling components and software to Huawei. Trump then told reporters in the Oval Office on Monday that trade negotiations, which had stalled in May, havebut claimed any potential deal would need to be somewhat tilted in Washington's favour.

"Think about this - they're stealing technology, they negotiated a deal and then walked back - I mean how many times do you negotiate a deal, somebody walks back, and the deal ever closes?" Scott said.

Correct.. No Deal.. Just some Crack Pot Frankenstein Feel Good Adjective Injected Move Along People Nothing To See Here Trump Babel. That only his voting Herd can “Understand.” As the rest of the Population “Overstands” the Issuance of Double Speak. Ignoring Fools Talk.

It is nice to see a president who says trade wars are easy to win make such a Bollocks of it. The smartness of China reducing tariffs for Canada , Mexico et al is very politically astute and not something Trump mentions. Well done Kudlow and other ex CNBC

He is wrong.

There's no way they should be allowed but the reality is if the Chinese do things that financially benefit the Trump family, he'll sell the entire nation down the river to put some coin in his families pockets.

I hate headlines like that, you can ask another Rep sits next to him and he will tell you there will be a deal lol
