Mpumalanga Premier Refilwe Mtsweni-Tsipane is expected to reveal government plans to create job opportunities and the revival of the provincial economy during her first State of the Province Address in the sixth administration. The State of the Province Address, held at the Mpumalanga Legislature precinct, is attended by hundreds of dignitaries and other stakeholders including members of the House of Traditional Leaders.
Mtsweni-Tsipane is also expected to announce strategies to assist municipalities with regard to their financial management. According to the Auditor-General’s report; only one of the seventeen municipalities obtained a clean audit for the 2017/18 financial year.
