Parliament to decide on Jiba and Mrwebi’s future

Jiba and Mrewbi were fired from the National Prosecuting Authority by President Cyril Ramaphosa earlier this year.

Parliament’s lawyers say it is up to the institution to determine the process to decide the fate of axed senior NPA officials AdvocatesPresident Cyril Ramaphosa fired Jiba and Mrwebi on the recommendation of retired Constitutional Court Justice Yvonne Mokgoro, who found them unfit for their roles in the NPA.

Senior legal adviser Siviwe Njikelana told a joint sitting of Parliament’s Select and Portfolio Committees that there is no specific rule within the rules of Parliament on the procedure to be followed on the matter.“The requirement that you will need as Parliament that whatever procedure you decide to adopt-it must be fair. Fairness in law means that both parties must be heard before a decision is taken.

So Ramaphosa will hurry up the destructions of Blacks and leave Constitutional delinquent like Pravin in order to appease his Oppenheimers?

What has Parliament to do with this now?

I, without ANY Prejudice, believe that these two Advocates should walk away from their Positions in the Justice System. They have been under Public Scrutiny and their Reputation have been Questioned. Somewhere in Private Practice they can use their knowledge to their Advantage.

The Judiciary in the whole world should be encouraged with one of its element, of Sacrosance, without prejudice and servitude to racial and cultural agendas. Pancho Hajane

Get ready for the EFF’s letter. It will condem the outcome no matter what it is

I just wish they should just move on. Start afresh. There is somewhere they can add value.
