AUDIO: Greater awareness of modern slavery, but problem persists

The clothing retailers Target and Cotton On say they'll review their supply chains after a Four Corners investigation found Muslim Uyghur citizens in Xinjiang Province were transferred from re-education camps to work in clothing factories.

The head of environmental, social and governance advice at the fund manager Ausbil, Mans Carlsson-Sweeney, says investors are more aware of modern slavery exposure, but warns it's increasingly common not just in Asia but also here in Australia.
