Sky News host Chris Kenny says Australian multi-billionaire Mike Cannon-Brookes encouraging his staff to take part in the “global climate action strike” is wacky virtue-signaling.

Mr Kenny said it was not the place of a “global software company” to be telling people what to think about climate change. “Especially if they can't get their facts right,” he said.

“The line about Australia not having any climate policy is blatantly false. “Australia has ratified the Paris agreement, this nation is committed to reducing its emissions to the Paris targets, a cut of at least 26 per cent on 2005 levels.”

JWSpry ClimateHysteria

Well, no matter how rich this guy is, it just says a lot about those who are complicit.

These people need to get a life, so many useless bludgers driving this country into the dirt ...

I'm sure Mike will take the compliment Chris. auspol

They need to pay their taxes first. Their global emissions footprint is atrocious

Chris Kenny is a spunktrumpet.

Thank goodness business understands climate crisis , if we wait for LNP and the coal hugging presenters on Sky we will be in trouble !

Turn everything off in Australia and the world climate wouldn't even notice.

JWSpry Doesn’t he own a $50m house on Sydney Harbour?

JWSpry Global warming to climate change to climate crisis to climate emergency. How does one measure 'emergency'? What are variables, parameters and how to you quantify them?

JWSpry He doesn't care if he loses a couple of millions. Just chump change. Think of all the likes his virtue-signalling will bring. Just another stupid billionaire.

Whats wacky is an imbecile like Kenny having an opinion at all. If you fail year 8 science, & still dont read science reports, its pretty comical trying to come across as knowing anything at all. Wacky Kenny is actually Dr Suess!

Ask him why he and his colleague both bought waterfront homes...... which will soon be underwater due to 'melting of the ice caps'. I wonder why Manhatten real estate is still trading for trillions under this scenario. 🤣 🤣 🤣

If renewables alone can't power Mike Cannon-Brookes own home, we've all been sent on a wild goose chase

Its not morality their trying to tell you, its fact....what is wrong with you people, learn some climate change factual science please !!!!

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA even the liberals precious billionaire capitalists are against them now 😂😂😂

Well that's what a climate denier would say.

its the life of life on the planet AMA have come out , pointing out the 'Health implications, increase in deaths from ClimateCrisis '

Great for him! Guess we’ll never see you out there doing anything for the community that isn’t court issued.

Hmmmm

Companies have no voice until they stop manufacturing in dirty countries for cheap labour pretending to be green. We will not be a martyr on a lost cause it is all PR marketing. china India undo any chance of progress by rest of world combined what ever we do.

That's fine, while these companies are striking and losing productivity others that arent will surpass them Vive le capitalism!

Wacky? Pot,black

In fact, I am sure the salesman gave me misinformation when renewing last year. The question is - did he consciously decide to ruin MYOB? MYOB was ground breaking in its day. Who remembers Lotus 123?
