LONDON - Ireland would be in favour of extending the October 31 deadline for Britain to leave the European Union to mitigate possible risks to the Northern Irish peace process and damage to its economy, Finance Minister Paschal Donohoe said on Monday. “I think it would be reasonable to say that from our point of view we would be in favour of an extension that would create the space to hopefully conclude where we are,” he told BBC radio. “But it is a matter that needs full agreement across the European Council.”

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson will meet his Irish counterpart Leo Varadkar in Dublin on Monday.

Of course, no deal Brexit will hurt Ireland badly.

Crash out the remaining 27 each only lose one export customer worth a fraction of their total EU exports; we lose 27 valuable tariff & customs free export customers worth over £265 billion employing millions of people, need more be said. 😱😱😱

Of course they would, all they want to do is put off their day of reckoning, the country's facing bankruptcy once we leave the EU and they know it.

What a surprise.

It’s because of Ireland 🇮🇪 we are in this mess 🤨

Was Donald whispering in your ear or did you really come up with that. Because of its Donald do the opposite.

At least someone is trying to stop a new holy war
