With the schedule for the job set for 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., Indorewala said she knew at least two of those prayer sessions would take place during business hours. Shahin Indorewala says she was denied a job because she asked about taking two five-minute prayer breakers in return for a shorter lunch period.Indorewala says she asked Gavilondo if there was any accommodation that could be made. But instead of addressing her request, Indorewala claims, Gavilondo made fun of her hijab and refused to employ her.

Yeah sorry. I don't get any five minute religious breaks as an atheist. Unless the whole office gets five minute breaks no one person gets to. And this is why Muslim countries lack basic infrastructure. Get off your knees, and get to work instead.
She messed up by requesting. She could've prayed using her toilet breaks without telling anyone and setting off alarms. A 5 minute absence is barely noticeable. When you start requesting, especially at an interview, they will suspect you have more up your sleeve.
Why bring religion into the work place? I am happy she didn't get the job.

First, she never had the job; it was a job interview. Secondly, once she got her foot into the door the twice a week would have turned into five days a week; every day at noon; pray (facing) the east; on hands/knees on her prayer rug on the floor with chanting in a PRIVATE room.
