Sandy and Lonnie Phillips, whose daughter Jessica was killed in the 2012 Aurora, Colorado, theater shooting, are renewing their call to ask Warner Bros.
In response, Warner Bros. said it took the situation seriously and sympathized with the parents. "Gun violence in our society is a critical issue, and we extend our deepest sympathy to all victims and families impacted by these tragedies," the studio said Tuesday.
By that logic so should AMC (Breaking Bad and Walking Dead), Disney (Black widow uses guns), Lionsgate (John Wick), Paramount (Transformers and GI Joe), and Universal (Fast and Furious). Am I missing any studio that these people forgot to demand?
Why should they? Seriously the movie industry is a place made and born of fantasy. Movies are movies escapism. Maybe ban the Maltese Falcon. Dirty Harry movies. All John Wayne movies the greats that inspire people. Where does it stop.... I'm intreaged to see joker now...
