The Obi added that Globacom is also the sole sponsor of the Oreze International Arts Exhibition, which has so far exhibited over 4,000 works of artists at the forum. He added that the partnership between Onitsha traditional council and Globacom has been of immense benefit to the festival.“Our appreciation goes to our main sponsor, Globacom. The partnership with this company has contributed significantly to the growth of Ofala”, Igwe Achebe said.
Addressing the media at the event, Mr. Noel Udeme, Globacom’s Regional Activation Manager, South East 2, said, ”Globacom’s consistent sponsorship of the festival for the past nine years is an indication that we do not only love the Onitsha people, but that we are interested in the preservation of their cultural values”.
